⚽🌍 Edgar Wood has caught World Cup fever! 🌍⚽ The excitement is building around school as each form has taken part in our World Cup Door Competition! After being drawn a World Cup nation, every form has transformed their classroom door into a creative celebration of their team. From bold colours and national flags to imaginative football-themed designs, the effort and enthusiasm have been fantastic. Take a look below at the incredible creations from forms across the different year groups. 🥈 2nd Place in the Schools Kwik Cricket Tournament! 🏏 A huge congratulations to our outstanding students who represented Edgar Wood at the Schools Kwik Cricket Tournament last night. Despite being one player short compared to the other teams, the boys showed incredible determination, teamwork, and resilience throughout the competition. They narrowly missed out on 1st place by just 8 runs—an outstanding achievement against the odds! 🌟 Special mentions go to: 🏏 Taha – An unstoppable performance with the bat, scoring the maximum 15 runs in every single game. 👏 Louie – Outstanding in the field, taking 4 out of 4 catches and producing game-changing moments when they mattered most. 💪 Kaya – Consistently impressive with both the bat and in the field, providing strength, reliability, and depth to the team throughout the tournament. Every player represented Edgar Wood with pride, demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork. We couldn't be prouder of their effort and attitude. Well done, boys—you've made Edgar Wood proud! 💙💛🏏
