Well done to our Year 9 students Helena, Isaac and Kayley for raising money for Burnside Food Bank (please tag) with their fundraising initiative - Guess the Name of the Turtle. Congratulations to Shakirat and Harvey for guessing Igloo and Stocking as the winning names. A fantastic £52.10 was raised and will be donated directly to the food bank. ❗️ Reminder to all Parents/Carers ❗️ - Thursday 18th December, students are welcome to come into school wearing a Christmas Jumper (alongside FULL school uniform) for a small donation. We will also be serving the students Christmas dinner on this day, for the students who do not wish to have a Christmas dinner, other options will be available. - Friday 19th December, Edgar Wood Academy will close at the slightly earlier time of 1:00pm and reopen on Monday 5th January 2026 to all students.
