✨ Virtual Employer Spotlight for International Women’s Day

Today we welcomed Roha, an Altus Education Partnership alumni and founder of Cyber Sisters, for an inspiring virtual session with our students.

Key highlights from the session:

• Roha shared her journey into cyber security and founding Cyber Sisters
• Explained careers in cyber including ethical hacking and AI
• Discussed online risks such as fake task scams and digital safety
• Explored the benefits and dangers of AI in today’s world
• Cyber security is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world, yet only 1 in 4 roles are currently held by women
• Encouraged students to break barriers and consider careers in cyber and technology

Cyber Sisters is helping to connect and support women working in cyber internationally, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities in the sector.

A huge thank you to Roha for inspiring our students and supporting the next generation of women in cyber.

Have you ever noticed how a small act of kindness or neighbourliness can transform how the rest of your day goes? Or how hearing a positive story makes you feel warm and fuzzy?

Steps to Togetherness has developed 32 ideas of small steps we can all take to connect more in our communities. They’ve been around the country and found that, instead of waiting for other people to make the first move, there’s nothing stopping us from leading by example by adopting some simple changes to our daily lives.

If you believe in community and/or being a good neighbour, come and join us for Supper and enjoy a Masterclass in Togetherness. We want to hear your stories and bring them to life through short films.

Don’t miss this opportunity to:

• Find out more about how you can use the steps to help feel closer to our community
• Share your positive stories with us - we will bring them to life and use them to inspire people around the country in a national social media campaign
• Make new likeminded local friends
Bring an open-mind, a warm heart and an empty tummy - let's have a fun afternoon together!

📚✨ World Book Day 2026✨📚

Today a handful of our staff celebrated World Book Day by stepping into the pages of some of our favourite stories! From classic characters to modern heroes, our staff had so much fun dressing up and sharing their love of books.

It’s been a fantastic day full of creativity, laughter, and a reminder of how powerful stories can be. Which character would you come dressed as? 📖👀
