Two of our fantastic Year 10 Citizenship pupils recently had the honour of representing Edgar Wood Academy at the Lord Lieutenant Youth District Committee in Rochdale.

This was a fantastic opportunity for them to take part in important discussions about the issues affecting young people in our town. They were able to share their views, listen to other young voices from across the borough and explore how young people can continue to have a positive impact locally.

We look forward to seeing how they continue to use their leadership skills to make a difference in our community.
