A group of our Year 10 and Year 11 students had a fantastic opportunity to visit the National Apprenticeship Fair at Salford Community Stadium. They explored a wide range of apprenticeship pathways and spoke with employers and training providers about future careers in sectors such as construction, engineering, health, business and public services. The event gave them a valuable chance to learn about real career routes, ask questions and start thinking about their next steps.

Our students showed excellent curiosity, asked thoughtful questions and represented the school with outstanding behaviour. Well done to everyone involved!

We were delighted to welcome Jenna from Springhill Hospice (Rochdale) to speak with Class 9WPS1 as part of our First Give programme. Pupils learned about the incredible work the hospice does, how the charity raises funds and helps local families.

Jenna also shared her career journey, explaining how volunteering from the age of 16 opened up opportunities for her. As a class, Springhill Hospice is a charity very close to our hearts, with many families having experienced the care it provides.

We were incredibly proud of the class who were engaged and asked brilliant, thoughtful questions. A huge thank you to Jenna and Springhill Hospice for such an inspiring visit.
