9EPS2 and Mrs Alafiatayo have chosen Mero’s World as their charity for First Give 💚 We had the privilege of hearing from Mero’s mum, who shared her family’s experience of losing a son to knife crime. Her honesty and strength left a lasting impact on everyone in the room. Mero’s World now works across Greater Manchester to help prevent further tragedies. Their work focuses on installing funded bleed control kits in public spaces and educating young people about the real dangers of carrying a knife; highlighting how just one moment, one decision, can change lives forever. We are so proud of how respectfully and thoughtfully 9EPS2 engaged with such an important topic. Over the coming weeks, the class will be planning and taking part in fundraising activities to support this vital work and help make our communities safer.
